He is a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) and a member of the Society of Wine Educators. A graduate of California State University Sacramento with degrees in environmental resources and in journalism, he has received awards for his writing in V&WM from the Society of Professional Journalists--Central California Chapter, and The Academy of Wine Communications. He has been a freelance journalist since 1984 specializing in writing for trade, business and regional publications in the subject areas of agriculture, energy, construction, recreation and natural resources, in addition to the wine industry. | |

In his current role at BevMo, he is responsible for the overall product content for the chain as well as writer of the company's monthly newsletters. Wilfred maintains the ever changing information of the 4,000+ wine skus offered by this 62-store California retail beverage chain In addition to this day job, he writes regular columns in Vineyard & Winery Management Magazine and Beverage Industry News.

Specializing in all facets of direct marketing, her seminars, presented with humor and enthusiasm, are jammed with innovative, useful and easy to implement concepts and information. Through her company, In Short Direct Marketing, Elizabeth works with small and large wineries, winery and state associations. While consulting on all facets of creating and implementing marketing and public relations programs and strategies, her focus is primarily aimed at marketing wines directly to consumers. She writes a regular marketing column for Vineyard & Winery Management magazine and served as Public Relations Chair for the Sonoma County Tourism Council.

![]() | Jeff Sully, CPA, CMA has spent more than thirty-seven years in the wine industry. He started out working in a wine shop. He worked his way up through the industry, as a grape nurseryman, winemaker and winery manager. He has served as a production and marketing consultant in the Finger Lakes. He is currently a partner in the firm of Dillwood, Burkel & Sully, in Santa Rosa, CA. His practice is almost exclusively wineries and vineyards. He is also the proprietor of 428, a small winery in Walla Walla, WA, and writes a regular column for Vineyard & Winery Management.

![]() | Richard Leahy is East Coast Editor and Director of Eastern Programs for Vineyard & Winery Management. He coordinates the seminar program for Wineries Unlimited, the largest trade show for the wine industry in the East, and also coordinates the International Eastern Wine Competition, one of the oldest and largest in the country. Other writing credentials include being a regional editor for Kevin Zraly's American Wine Guide, being Mid-Atlantic and Southern Editor for the Oxford Companion to the Wines of North America, (2000) and being a member of the Circle of Wine Writers, a U.K-based professional association.

Tom has 25 years of experience in still and sparkling wine production in Virginia along with 3 years experience in ultra-premium Bordeaux varietal wine production in the Napa Valley while studying under famed Bordeaux enologist Jacques Boissenot. In addition to winemaking, Mr. Payette is a recognized International wine judge and Wine Tech columnist for Vineyard & Winery Management Magazine.
